The word Reiki is a
combination of two Japanese characters, Rei, meaning universal or
spiritually guided and Ki, meaning life force energy. Reiki is a
hands-on-healing, energy work system that heals and balances on the
physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. It is within each
person's power to learn about and use Reiki energy. Reiki is taught
in the oral tradition from master to student. Reiki Master
Suzanne Cardinal has been teaching Reiki in three stages according to the Usui Shiki
Ryoho lineage since 1994.
